The Plateau State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kairos Technologies USA to advance innovation in data centre development and digital infrastructure across the state.
Hillspringnews.com gathered that the agreement was formalized by the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, and Mr. Shree, President and Founder of Kairos Technologies, in what officials described as a landmark step toward strengthening the state’s technological capacity.
Speaking during the signing, Governor Mutfwang emphasized the critical role of technology in enhancing governance, improving public service delivery, and creating opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship. He noted that the partnership aligns with the state’s broader vision of digital transformation and inclusive growth.
The collaboration with Kairos, a global technology partner, will explore opportunities to deploy modern, energy-efficient, and scalable data centre solutions capable of supporting key sectors of the economy and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Members of the Kairos team also showcased their infrastructure and edge computing technologies, demonstrating how such solutions can modernize digital infrastructure, strengthen public service systems, and support innovation ecosystems within Plateau State.
Governor Mutfwang commended the leadership and technical expertise of Kairos Technologies and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships that translate global innovation into meaningful local impact.
The MoU emphasized Plateau State’s resolve to position itself as a forward-looking, technology-enabled economy and a leader in digital innovation in Nigeria.
